BLAKE perform ‘The Prayer’ on BBC-One primetime TV

BRIT-award winning harmony trio BLAKE  join forces with Classical No.1 soprano Rebecca Newman to perform ‘The Prayer’ by David Foster. The performance is one of two that BLAKE recorded for BBC One’s primetime tv show ‘Songs of Praise’ watched by 6 million viewers every week.

EXCLUSIVE – New BLAKE summer single “So Happy” on Radio 2 Playlist

Trio sing live on BBC1 at Wembley Stadium for 85,000 people

Without a doubt one of the proudest moments for Blake in their new trio form, headlining the entertainment for 85,000 at Wembley Stadium with 6 songs including ‘With or Without You’, ‘Chasing Cars’, ‘God Only Knows’ and ‘Hallelujah’. Their live performance of ‘Abide With Me’ was televised to over 8 million people on BBC1, before they formally opened the game with the national anthem of ‘God Save The Queen’. This was not the groups first performance at Wembley, having sung twice before for two FA Community Shield finals, but it was the first time that the new trio have performed at this legendary venue. Although the rain never stopped, the singing kept going in true British style! A special mention to Blake’s guest singer from their earlier 2013 tour dates, Natalie Coyle, who got her chance to debut at Wembley Stadium with the boys during this performance.
