After discussing the incredible work of the charity with the song’s writer Luc Floreani, the trio decided to visit one of their successful London hostels. The group met with the team that run the Endell Street hostel, along with current residents, who only months before had been sleeping rough on London’s streets. The hostel also features a recording studio, to give those there an exciting creative output not normally available to those trying to piece their lives back together. The hostel receives people who have ended up on the streets, through drink, drugs or simply family circumstances. All those there are treated equally, given their own unique room and the time to come to terms with their lives. It is within this safe environment that the long term homeless can begin finding their feet again.
After visiting the hostel band member Stephen said, “We had a humbling and interesting afternoon when we recently visited a St Mungo’s Broadway hostel. They are doing amazing work and it is great for us to be helping in this way. The hostel and its recording studio have a really lovely and passionate team and we are excited to be supporting St.Mungo’s Broadway”
