Blake in the USA! Can’t seem to register for an account on the fansite. Keeps saying I’m trying to use the wrong form. What that all about?

Was at the concert last night in Wakefield – it was fabulous. Thank you very much for a relaxing, entertaining and wonderfully musical night. Can’t wait for you to come to Buxton Opera House – I’ll be there.

Loved the King’s Lynn concert again… We felt that the backing was rather loud, and drowned the harmonies we’d come to hear – try singing UNACCOMPANIED – I’d love to hear that, please.
And could we have more of the “Kenny G” sound as on “She” on the “Together” album, please – glorious combination with your voices. Keep up the great work!

We saw Blake at Gloucester cathedral on 27th November – it was absolutely fantastic! This was the second time we have seen Blake and we’ll be going again to the Buxton Opera House in March. The evening in Gloucester was especially magical – everything from the champagne reception beforehand, to the stunning concert in a magnificent setting and then the programme signing at the end… Just wonderful! The acoustics were fantastic. We were lucky enough to end up sitting next to Ollie’s parents and grandparents near the front row – they were utterly charming.

This was an especially magical time for us because I am pregnant with our first baby. The first time we saw Blake my beloved father was dying of cancer and we had planned to take him to the concert, but he was too ill to travel. The next best thing was to bring him home a signed copy of the CD which we listened to that night with tears in our eyes. I hadn’t realised that Jules had lost his own father the same year (2009) so when he dedicated the beautiful ‘Bring him home’ to his own father and anyone who had lost a parent it carried a resonance that brought me to tears. A truly moving, special concert that we won’t forget. Unless I go into labour, we’ll be there in March at the Buxton Opera House! We love you guys and wish you every success in the world. It is so apparent that you love what you’re doing and when you’re performing you’re 100% consumed by the music and the lyrics you’re singing. I’ve seen Il Divo before, but they’re not a patch on you!!!

From The Royal Festival Hall – to Stevenage – to Wavendon – I have taken my better half, mum, mum-in-law, sisters, best friends and last week, my daughter, to see the guys … needless to say they are now all Blake fans!
Wavendon was one of the best shows I’ve seen – The voices, the humour, the choir, the song choices (although you had us all reaching for the tissues at Lullaby, Father and Son and Bring Him Home!)
Without wanting to sound like Stalkers – We are all counting the weeks until February at The Gordon Craig … although the album in November will ease the wait a little!!
