BLAKE on the Philippines biggest TV show, ASAP-2012

With massive pride and maybe even a few nerves, British singers Blake break-though in the Philippines to perform on the biggest tv show in the country, ASAP-2012. Singing their new live reworking of U2 classic, With or Without You, the band were amazed and humbled by the… studio reaction to their biggest performance in the Philippines on this tour. The band have so far given 7 major concerts in the Philippines, in association with Ayala Malls, in Manila, Trinoma, Cebu, Alabang and more. The band are collaborating with major Filipino vocal artists for a special Blake album just for the Philippines, to be released this Christmas, as well as returning for a further concert tour of the country. As part of their concert and album promotion tour of the Philipines, the boys of Blake appear on top Filipino tv show ‘ShowTime’ today. BLAKE to perform at London Olympic Stadium

With an expected audience of over 20,000 people, Brit-Award-Winners Blake will join rising soul star Dionne Bromfield (God-daughter & protege of Amy Winehouse) and urban sensation Angel, as the first group to sing at the London Olympic Stadium. Raising funds for the ‘Gold Challenge’ Olympic sports charity, the boys are extremely honored and proud…

….to be performing at this event on April 1st 2012. Stephen Bowman from Blake commented “We’ve been singing patriotic British songs as a band for more than five years now, to sing at the Olympic Stadium is going to be something we tell our grand children about; to be raising funds for so many great charities makes the experience even more special”

Blake have sung at many historic sporting events, including the opening of the Rugby World Cup in 2007, the opening of Wimbledon in 2010, two Charity Shield finals at Wembley Stadium in 2007 and 2011, The Melbourne Cup in Australia in 2009, The World Polo Tournament in London in 2010 and over ten appearances at the 75,000 seat Twickenham Stadium.

BLAKE return to the Philippines

Serenading the Philippines once again, Brit-Award-Winning vocalists ‘Blake’ will be giving two unmissable public performances in Manila this month, on Thursday 22nd at Ayala Greenbelt and Friday 23rd at Ayala Trinoma, both start at 7:15pm. Whilst in Manila the boys will also be appearing on top Filipino tv and radio shows including…

MYX Unplugged, Headstart, Bandila, Love Notes with Joe D Mango, Showtime, ASAP and many more. You’ll also be able to catch them this month in Philippines Tatler Magazine. Blake absolutely love their time in the Philippines and hope to meet as many of their fans there as possible during signing sessions and public appearances. The boys said during their last trip to Manilla “we have been astounded by how warm, friendly and above all, musical, everyone in the Philippines is; if we had the opportunity, we would love to spend half of every year here, it’s like paradise for us”. They’re very excited to return.
